Hand Caning
Hand caning can be identified by the loops over the border and knots on the bottom of the chair.
Pressed Caning
This is identified by no loops or knots around the bottom of the chair. With pressed cane there will be a groove around the edge of the which is filled by the spline that holds the cane.
